Mumbai (Andheri): A remarkable example of unity and communal harmony was witnessed at the grand Navratri Sahastra Navchandi Yagna being held at Lokhandwala Ground, Andheri West, Mumbai. Renowned social worker and prominent builder Aslam Lashkaria extended his wholehearted support to the religious event, earning widespread appreciation.
The grand occasion, which continues throughout the Navratri festival, has seen active participation and generous contribution from Aslam Lashkaria. His gesture stands out as a powerful message that respect for faith and service to society goes beyond religious boundaries.
It is noteworthy that Aslam Lashkaria has consistently supported various Hindu festivals in the past as well. During the Ganpati festival, especially on the day of visarjan, his foundation sets up multiple food stalls, serving free meals to lakhs of devotees.
Earlier, during the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, he had also donated a silver brick as an offering to Lord Shri Ram, which became a widely discussed gesture.
Through the Aslam Lashkaria Foundation, he has been actively working to support the needy, underprivileged, and vulnerable sections of society. His contributions are especially significant in the fields of healthcare and education, ensuring that no one is deprived of treatment due to lack of funds and no child is left behind in education.
